Gympie Beef Group - Cattle Camp 2024

A Facebook glitch blocked us from playing the audio recording for all to listen to the ABC Radio interview recorded at the recent Cattle Camp , but....we're trying a work around via the group newsletter.

We're very thankful to Jen Nichols from ABC Sunshine Coast for her interest and ongoing support of the Gympie Beef Group.

 

If you had kids at the event, you will already know how enjoyable it was. 

As a parent and observer, I commend the Cattle Camp committee on the event overall.  You'd have to go a long way to find a more wholesome and positive event for kids to attend...no phones, loads of confidence building, heaps of education and the chance to make connections beyond school. 

The older kids were given roles of responsibility as Team Leaders, which they shone at, and for those not in leadership roles, being the 'experts' on hand to the younger kids was equally valuable.
